Why Should I be a Member of the ITC?
The Thunderbird was advertised at one time as “Unique, In All the World”. That may be correct but we found that it is more fun to be unique all together!
The International Thunderbird Club welcomes every model of Thunderbird produced from 1955 to 2005; Stock to Modified, Daily Drivers to Show Cars!
Most people think that cars are for guys. This couldn’t be farther from the truth! We are a family oriented club with events and shows, hosted by ITC or one of its Regional Chapters, that cater to guys, gals and kids.
Need advice on your Thunderbird?
Volunteer District and Technical Advisors with experience in the eleven models of Thunderbird share their knowledge with members through the club magazine “International Thunderbird Club Script” and personal contacts.
Want to take that dream road trip in your Thunderbird but unsure what to do along the way? Use the Member Directory to contact members and clubs across the country (and the world!) that can show you what the locals do while maybe even joining you in their Thunderbird.
The club magazine mentioned above, commonly referred to as “The Script”, arrives in member’s mailboxes every two months. In it you’ll find information for Thunderbird repair and restoration, Thunderbird history, stories of members and their Thunderbirds, event schedules and recaps as well as a classified section with cars and parts.
The annual ITC Convention provides owners an opportunity to showcase their time and effort spent on their Thunderbird. Experienced judges, using established standards, grade cars in various classes that the owner selects. This important function of the ITC provides members with the opportunity to understand their Thunderbird better. Further details can be found by clicking Judging.
Each new member receives an identifying membership card and ITC decal to proudly show you are a member of the best Thunderbird club around! Other ITC branded items may be purchased or you have the option to have the ITC logo put on, well, just about anything. You can find out what is available by clicking on our partner information Top Stitch.
If there is anything you would like to know that has not been covered here, please click District Advisors to contact one of them.
